... if the driver has time to call 911, then surely he could figure out a way to stop the vehicle, a good driver must know how to stop his vehicle even if there are accelerator or break problems... Toyota has also its faults, but don't blame it all to the car company, You the driver must be in control no matter what the circumstances are... @Hiteminthewallet The Prius is way better.. Better gas mileage, better interior, more horsepower, and the Insight's design is borderline copyright infringement. Yeah, the guy in San Diego that "went out of control" did not apply the brakes at all, was behind on his Prius payments, and about to go into bankruptcy. Not one prius has had a credible event. @ricoswerve1260 Toyotaho I guess brand allegiance is more important than your life. Spin the wheel, but do it in an empty parking lot so you can't hurt others with your rolling death machine. Toyota's spin in their favor; smart people are bypassing their dealerships and brand. What car company blames mechanical error on their customers?
